Integrative Dry Needling
Service Description
Integrative Dry Needling is a highly effective form of Physical Therapy which is implemented to treat a wide array of neuromuscular conditions, to address neurogenic inflammation within the peripheral nervous system. Integrative Dry Needling improves blood flow, reduces pain and inflammation. The following conditions have been shown to be effectively treated with Integrative Dry Needling: • Headaches, Neck and Jaw Pain : such as whiplash injuries, cervicogenic tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, degenerative joint and disc disease of the neck, including cervical radiculopathy • Shoulder Pain: such as rotator cuff tears and strains, bursitis, adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), tendonitis, thoracic outlet and impingement syndromes caused by pain when lifting the arm overhead • Elbow Pain: such as medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow) and lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), which are typically aggravated with gripping activities • Hand and Wrist Pain: such as carpal tunnel syndrome, DeQuervain’s syndrome and osteoarthritis • Back Pain: such as strains, muscle spasms, lumbar degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis and lumbar radiculopathy • Hip and Knee Pain: such as patellar tendonitis, plica syndrome, meniscus injuries, IT band syndrome, hamstring and quadricep strains and osteoarthritis • Shin, Ankle and Foot Pain: such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, calf strains, shin splints and metatarsalgia • Athletic and common overuse Injuries • Post-trauma Injuries, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), and Work Injuries • Chronic Pain Conditions: such as fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome (MPS)
